Looking for a creative FEMALE vocalist to work with on some original songs....A little bit about me...I am a 40 yr old guitar player living in Apex--no kids, no wife, no drugs, no attitude, no pets and no baggage. I have been playing the guitar on and off since I was 14. I started out trying to shred like everyone else in the 80's and eventually got sick of it. So in 2003 I recorded a short strange "anti-guitar" album full of drum loops, synths, even samples from old movies as my way of rebelling against my stressful youth of trying to be a great technical guitar player (which never happened by the way).
Right now in my life I have started writing vocal songs-I have about 9-11 in the works. I recently (like yesterday) bought an acoustic/electric to finish these song ideas. I currently do not have any amps/effects but getting those soon is not a problem--I have just been in limbo lately concerning exactly what I want to do musically. Anyhow, I am not interested in shredding, instead I want each note to make sense and connect to the listener. Also I should add I am not a good singer, but I do sing on my demos--I would rather have a female to sing them.
I have a link to a 2003 instrumental CD I recorded--PLEASE be aware my musical preferences have changed since then--I am more laid back, more slow, more interested in great, soulful, spacey song construction.
