Bees Deluxe is a blues-rooted, jazz-inspired, funk-infused band from Boston. Hellbent on a mission to drag the music of Chicago in the 60’s and the Blue Note catalog kicking and screaming into the 21st century. They’ve won over audiences from Maine to the Mississippi with their arresting and highly danceable originals and their innovative interpretation of less-travelled tunes by artists like Etta James, Joe Zawinul, J.B. Lenoir, Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Albert Collins and the three Kings. to get in touch with us please use the contact form on our website beesdeluxe dot com or write to news at bees deluxe dot com

LIVE MUSIC RETURNS. BEES DELUXE SWARM CITY WINERY.
After a year of cancelled gigs, collaborative composing, recording remotely and practicing at home, Bees Deluxe returns to the stage at Boston City Winery on Saturday, May 1st. Doors open at 6pm; music starts at 8pm.
Celebrating the band's dedication to eradicating boring blues, the socially-distanced, fully masked evening is a shot with musical surprises and sensory stimulation. The four-piece band, fronted by British guitarist and vocalist Conrad Warre promises to deliver doses of acid blues and punk jazz in the distinct style that has won Bees Deluxe fans from Maine to Miami.
"We love playing City Winery," said Warre. " We've been away for so long, that this is truly a homecoming for us and for our fans and friends."
Bees Deluxe has toured up and down the East Coast and the mid-West and has performed at festivals, fairs and in venues like: the Cleveland House of Blues, Earl's Hideaway in Florida, Freddy's in Brooklyn, Madam's Organ in Washington DC, and the Spire in Plymouth. The band's repertoire includes arresting originals as well as innovative takes on tunes by artists ranging from Albert and Freddie King, Etta James and Billie Holiday to ZZ Top and Joe Zawinul.
