ABOUT

My instrument is the Zendrum, an electronic MIDI controller for triggering virtual drums, percussion, and other instruments, timbres, and textures. Often worn with a guitar strap and connected to computer software or dedicated sound modules, the Zendrum can sonically function as a traditional drum set, multi-percussion instrument, or combine other sound palettes to explore unusual and creative possibilities.

I'm an experienced musician and composer, looking for opportunities to jam and collaborate. My genres of choice include modern jazz, fusion, avant garde, ambient electronic, world music, contemporary orchestral, soundtracks, and composers and songwriters with unusual perspective.

I prefer to operate locally within the greater Portsmouth, NH area, and can be available for occasional public performances as well as to rehearse and record. I'm not interested in club gigs or road trips, but happy to play a concert or intimate listening venue. My level of commitment is adaptable for the right situation. Duos, trios, or other compact ensembles are of particular interest.
