ABOUT

Played with bands on and off for 25 years. I've written and played in original bands early on and moved more towards covers later.

I've played everything from acoustic 90s covers, classic rock, punk rock, emo, alternative rock and nu metal.

I have decent vocals but don't consider myself a front man. I am a good rhythm guitarist that can actually keep time. I have a background in classical guitar and can do some more technical acoustic stuff. Not a lead or improv guy. I can do some lead/riffs but not a shredder.

I am consistent, dependable, easy to get along with, drug free and like to have fun. I don't mind drinking but my party days are done with.

Open to cover bands and original projects. I like such a wide range of music I am open to a lot.

Extremely knowledgeable with instrument and own a lot of different equipment.

I am a full time professional with a wife and kids. I can practice 1-2 times a week and gig once a week. I'm not looking for a music career at this point unless it would pay me over six figures and I doubt that is in the cards.

Last, I am right leaning on the political spectrum. I have liberal friends but many that lean left, especially strongly, do not engage with people that don't think exactly like them. I'm not sorry about my views or values. I don't care to talk about it on stage and would not want to be part of a strongly political band.

Hipster music - Clap, clap, HEY! no actual chorus and just whistling or oooo'ing your way through it. Anything that sounds like it should be in a Subaru commercial.
