Drummer of going on 20 years here. Looking to kickoff a Doobie Brothers Tribute Project. It will take coordination and a little bit of time to gather the talent required but gathering the basics will be enough to get started.
Ultimately we would have lead vocals, backup vocals, rhythm & lead guitar(acoustic, electric, slide), bass, keyboard, auxiliary percussion, sax and trumpet. Getting started I would like to lock down both guitars, bass and vocals.
This will be a great way to make some money on the side once we start playing out. The Doobie Brothers have an arsenal of quality material that many people know... but many that people don't know... and they should. Let's bring back the spirit of the 70's!
