Starting up (again) the cover/tribute band I have with my wife Shelly. I sing and play guitar...she sings and plays some keys. Down to earth with zero ego...(really).
Been playing since the early 80's....did the whole Hollywood bit.
Focused on writing original material, building my recording studio and playing in cover bands for fun. I have also entered into the tribute scene..covering Warren DeMartini in a Ratt tribute and subbing on bass for Motley, Dokken and Poison. Complete with accurate gear, performance aspects and costuming.
Not interested in...Mustang Sally-Brown eyed girl-Roadhouse blues non show oriented cover bands. I like a lot of aspects those genre's and respect them....I just have no desire to play them.
I like to inject my style into covers and own them...not ruin them. I understand song structure, dynamics and hooks....from disco to pop....it can all rock if done with a proper understanding. Tributes however are different and I strive for every nuance.
The demos provide my lead vocal, BG vox, guitars, keys and some bass styles and abilities.
I am currently building a 700 sq ft "dedicated" recording studio...(not a computer in a closet)
