We are IX From Chaos and we are currently looking for a drummer or a guitarist. We have been together for 4-5 years, but have had some difficulty staying in the scene due to member changes. However, in the short time intervals we have been in the scene we have had great success, with such accomplishments as a top five finalist in the WZZO Backyard band competition, and 1st place in the WPST Battle of the bands. Each competion was out of hundreds of bands, and it had been the first and only time we had entered each of them. We now finally have a permanent lineup minus a drummer or a guitarist, and are ready to get back in the scene and create some chaos. We have a 7 song album finished a few years back, a second album waiting to be finished, plus other songs waiting to be recorded. We are very versatile but mostly play hard rock. Our influences include Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Primus, STP, and pretty much anything else in, but not limited to, the hard rock spectrum. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STP, Alice in Chains, Primus, DMB... and each of us are influenced by many other great bands ranging anywhere from Slayer and Pantera to Sublime and DMB to jazz to funk to metal and everything in between.

We have a Pearl Export set with good hardware and good cymbals in our practice space. We have a PA and everything else that a drummer wouldn't even have to worry about.
