ABOUT

WHO: ISO musicians who can collaboratively arrange and perform their own parts. Would prefer those that are both rooted in Central Florida and in the 30-50 age-range—but open to anyone with passion.

You:
- Bassist
- Drummer
- Lead/Rhythm Guitarist
- Violin/Cello/Other?

Me:
- Guitarist/Vocals

WHAT: Originals project—mixing in a few unique covers. I have a number of original songs that would be the foundation for this project, but I’m open to others’ songs and creative ideas. My tastes fit somewhere in the Indie/Alt/Alt-country (NOT country) genres. This is a hobbyist endeavor as I maintain a full-time job, so we won’t be in this for the money.

WHY: I’ve been a member of local hobbyist band for a few years now. We’ve had fun doing a few gigs/festivals and have recorded and released some of our music. (Ask, I’ll send you links.) It has been a richly rewarding experience, but the band lost some steam due to COVID. So now I’m looking for motivated musicians who are interested in putting in the work to pick up the occasional bar/festival gig. Ultimately, I’d like to record and release our music. Most importantly, I want to create a platform for collaborating with other committed musicians.

WHERE: I have plenty of rehearsal space and the ability to record in Maitland. Would love for this to be home base for us, but I’m open to the occasional rehearsal/jam session elsewhere. Gigs would be limited to Central Florida.

WHEN: I foresee rehearsals happening once a week (Sundays?) plus the occasional weekday evening as our schedules permit. Gigs begin when we feel we all have a grasp of the material—but we’ll probably start by playing a few open mics to get our footing.

Again, the above is just a framework for whatever this becomes, so let’s jam and see what happens!

Hit me up! Can’t wait to hear some of your stuff!
