The Hourglass Pub in downtown Jacksonville on Bay street hosts an Open Mic/Open Jam every Friday night. All you need to do is bring your instrument(drums are provided), put your name/band on the sign up sheet and Jam! The Hourglass Pub has many features that you may not find in many other bars. It has an Arcade in the back with 8+ Vintage arcade games/pinball machines. There's also a dart board and a pool table. They also serve coffee made just about anyway you'd like, and have Hookahs with many flavors. Finally, every night there's something different, from the open jam Friday night, to comedy, to even hosting Cosplay events.
Flie's Tie Irish Pub in Atlantic Beach Florida has an Open Mic night every Tuesday.
Hosted with a house band, all you need to do is bring your instrument (except drums those are provided). Recently voted the best open mic at the beach, Flie's Tie is truly a unique place to go, because it brings all types and all ages and is always open to all types of music.
