Influences

I believe my main influence for singing is my aunt Karmen. She is a singer and she was a pretty big deal when I was very young. I was told that at 1 year old I was in the audience when she was singing in a competition and either I was so excited She was on stage Or maybe I just didn't want to share her lol, but I ran up to the stage held my hands in the air saying "uppy uppy" well that cost her the competition because the judges believed it was planned unfortunately. However I even as a teen I would get chills when I hear her sing! I wanted to be just like her she inspired me and I fell in love with it. Between ages 5-8 I would sit in a quiet corner of the house and sing on my little tape recorder. I have pictures of it lol! Once when I was between 8-10 my aunt took me to a real studio and had a tape made of me singing. It is one of my fondest memories growing up even though I was mad they made me sound like chipmunks on one song lol! I don't even know if she knows how important that was to me and how thankful I am she shared that time with me. Music not only soothes but feeds my soul as well I would love to prosue a singing gig even if it's only during my free time
