Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Keyboard, Background Singer.ABOUT
NOTE: I should only be considered as a vocalist for any practical venture. It has been too long and/or I am too new to the instruments to be ready for performance.
While I will not decline a good opportunity and fit, I am primarily interested in a few types of musical ventures at this time:.
A keyboard or( more likely) acoustic guitar based cover duo/trio for small intimate venues (mostly doing stripped down covers - things like Chris Cornell's solo acoustic live recordings),
A Rockabilly-ish/Punkabilly-ish driving rock band (think The Blasters higher energy stuff or X),
Early to mid-eighties alt-rock/new wave cover band, (R.EM., U2, INXS, Psychedelic Furs, Modern English, Duran Duran, Roxy Music, Adam Ant, Midnight Oil, etc...)
Complex rock cover band primarily from the 90's and 00's think progressive and/or industrial (Tool, System of a Down, Rammstein, Rage Against the Machine, Living Color, Nine Inch Nails),
Original industrial/symphonic/progressive Metal band featuring Baritone and Tenor vocals. Something along the line of a mashup of the bands above with Nightwish thrown into the mix, and/or a
dance/party band. Probably more on the line of a corporate/wedding function band where the focus of the music is to get people dancing.
More about me if you have any interest....
I am a natural Baritone with a range up through most tenors.
I am currently teaching myself guitar and attempting to learn Bass (properly this time).
I dabble in hand percussion and harmonica. I own (but have not played in decades) a trombone.
NOTE: BandMix cuts the "haitch tee tee pee" from the beginning of the links below.
For more of a vocal sample, here are some clips of karaoke, recorded on a telephone, without editing, and with my having no control over the mix:
