I am primarily a drummer specializing in danceable grooves and layered rhythms. I started out as a progressive metal musician but have moved towards indie-rock/synth-pop/alternative/shoe-gaze for the challenge of developing memorable patterns within a 15 - 30 sec window which a lot of that type of music would even allow. I can play anything from chill/introspective to energetic/frenetic moods.
Throughout the past 7 years I've gained a love for electronic music and synthesizers in their many incarnations, so I always welcome those sounds. I've been slowly developing my own songwriting using synths and hope to add those song ideas to future collaborations.
I'm currently in a couple of bands, a shoegaze and jam band which have most of my attention, but I have time to record some demo ideas and we can see if that'd develop into anything more. I work best with musicians who have the same drive and love to write/rehearse/record/playout throughout the week.
I am open to either all original music or a mix of original and covers.
I am generally available nights for weekdays but usually all day on the weekends (I'll make it happen).
