I've been playing music since the age of 8. I started with piano and then clarinet in middle school, and a bunch of other wind instruments since. After college I've played in a multitude of bands from ska, Funk, reggae, Americana, swamp pop, blues, jazz duos, trios and quartets. I'm back in Kansas City Mo, after 2 yrs in New Orleans. I'm looking to make some music. I like to play just about anything as long as I'm having fun and being musically challenged. In clubs, bars, riverboats, barmitzvahs, weddings or any event. Right now looking for a drummer that can get funky and also have jazz chop and a bit of odd meter familiarity. I'm also looking to join a group or create one with any other instruments and singers. Trad Jazz, Modern Jazz, Blues, Funk, giging band or touring band.
