want to collaborate with a boomer age player, keyboard or guitar, on originals or different takes on cover songs, you know the ones we grew up with. maybe spin them up with long trippy improv jams. its cool to get a simple syncopated 3 chord cycle with occasional minor 7th romp and see where it goes.
solo, i provide cool background sounds that liven up an executive reception, private party, or food /wine tastings, art showing events. especially where the audience is right there in your face, i bring to my solo act, inventive and curious cover renditions of 50s-90s . also play with cover bands now and then.
open mic nights are fun too, get a chance to try out new material.

EQUIPMENT
the private party entertainment package is light and easy listening saxophone, at a airy background level designed to sweeten up the executive soirée, with a few dance tunes thrown in. i play the tenor sax with a harmonizer and effects pedals accompanied by my laptop midi band. of course; mics, mixer, amplifier and powered speakers to meet venue requirements. at home i play guitars and piano to work out arrangements. the solo entertainment package has all the gear needed to make a successful gig come off clean.
when i'm out playing out with a cover band, my saxophone will employ effects and any number of amplifiers and speakers depending upon house size.
