Really, you're limiting us to 4 genres? I have such eclectic taste and have played with musicians from all walks of life so there are very few genres I steer away from. Maybe I’ll come back and list my top 10. I go to as many festivals, concerts, gigs, etc. as my schedule and budget permits. I will mentor, work, and most definitely jam with anyone so long as they’re seriously committed and not a complete deuche bag. I love helping talented, driven up and comers, especially underground and indie artists, but as anyone in the industry knows, I also have to work with acts that are more seasoned and known if I want to have killer lineups, large happy high energy crowds, and make a reasonable profit.
