About

I'm a versatile drummer and vocalist, country music is just a part of what I love. Since moving north from L.A. I've been on the road with Johnny D's Steel Horse Stampede feat. Halie O'Ryan, I've performed with the Sacramento Brothers, the Double Shots (expanded version! - doubleshotnation.com), Brazen Hussies (& the Bad Boyz) and Dyin' Breed (Facebook and vids here: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheDyinBreed) . Currently I am with the Rhythm Riders (www.rhythmridersmusic.com), Big Iron (http://www.thisisbigiron.com), Lucky Laskowski and the Liar's Choir and have done gigs with the Fortunate Few, James Carlson and Ana Gilmour.
I'm available for fill-ins, casuals, and recordings and I'm always ready to lend a hand to your rock, pop (anyone in Sac ever hear of Marshall Crenshaw or Buddy Miller fercrineoutloud?), country or alt-country band or project. Need the right drum track for your song or jingle? I will work with you so we all sound great.
Listen to a few cuts , updated soon, of me singing and playing live with the Shills (pop-roots rock), the Tavernapples (trad country) back in L.A. and new projects. Looking for an accomplished bass player for a few Bay Area projects. And keyboards for a pop band.

Influences

Tom Ardolino, Curly Smith, Albert Bouchard, James Stroud, Gary Mallabar, Dave Mattacks, Tony Braunagel, Prairie Prince, Donald Lindley, Moonie and all the semi-obscure 70's guys. It's about the song, the backbeat, the fill and leaving enough space for the lyrics to sink in!
