Hi! My name is Eli, and I am a pianist, keyboardist and composer from Colorado, USA. . I have experience playing keyboard/piano in both studio and live settings, with groups ranging across the genres of jazz/fusion, pop, funk, R&B, progressive rock, and musicals / pit orchestra. I offer a unique improvisational voice in addition to original ideas / compositions. I also have some experience producing, mixing and mastering my own music, and creating music for film and advertisements. Influences
I am influenced by an array of music. Some of my favorite pianists:
-Bill Laurance (plays in Snarky Puppy). The way he blends classical orchestral elements and electronic/jazz elements into his music is beautiful. I am also highly influenced by Snarky Puppy as a band, due to their high levels of musicianship combined with music that is accessible to a plethora of listeners.
-Eldar Djangirov - a virtuosic New-York based jazz pianist. I study him a lot for his technical expertise and improvisational language.
-Chick Corea - a jazz legend who wrote some absolutely brilliant music.
