ABOUT

Having to choose only 3 musical genres just isn't fair. The only songs I have recorded are my originals but with little to no collaboration from anyone. If I had my 9 piece funk band you would hear a very different vocal. And ditto if you ever heard me sing blues live! I'm a sucker for most genres as long as I feel what I hear. So it's possible for me to be extremely versatile but the 3 songs I have for you to listen to don't portray the "in your face/soulful" voice that lies just beneath the surface.

Influences

Not sure if anyone influences me to sing or write in any certain way but I do love anything with soul, a driving rhythm, a funky beat or a powerful and moving sound. Vocally, I love Susan Tedeschi, Etta James, Stevie Wonder, A band from London called Incognito ("Talkin Loud" GREAT song and vocals!) and singer that can move you to feel something real is what I love to hear.

Ha ha ha....My computer and Sony Sound Forge, Reason 4.0 and a crappy mic!
Used to have more but I'm over my "attachment issues" ...here today but gone tomorrow. Happy with what I do have! And you can't take my voice so I'm good. :)
