I'm looking for a band in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area to play and gig with.

I'm looking for a rock band (like Nirvana or The Pixies), a post-rock band (like Radiohead or Mogwai), a blues rock band (like Black Keys or White Stripes), a garage rock band (like the Strokes), a punk band (like Sex Pistols or Mika Miko) or a fantasy metal band (like Dragonforce).

I play both guitar and drums, and I'm willing to play drums in anything except a metal or punk band. I'm more of a hard hitting rock drummer...power over speed. I'd be willing to play rhythm or lead guitar for any kind of rock band, or rhythm for a metal band.

I drink but I don't do drugs, so if you're just looking for someone who will sit around and jam and smoke pot, then please look elsewhere. I'm ready to get serious about a band, and I love putting on rock shows with tons of energy!

Equipment List:

Drums: I play a black 5-piece Rockwood set with Sabian B8 Pro cymbals.

Guitar: I play either a 1990 midnight blue Fender Strat w/ custom rosewood neck or a black Epiphone Les Paul. I play through a Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion pedal most of the time into a Peavey Bandit 112 100w amp.
