Hey guys, my name is Rika formally known as Hershey. I’m an eclectic vocalist with a soulful bold sound. I have been singing, writing, and rapping for as long as I can remember. I put music down during the pandemic, but now that we are ending lockdown I’m ready to get back to what I love to do. The hunger for live music is overwhelming by the masses, and I want to help feed it.
I’m looking to join either an established band that is seeking a female vocalist or start a band with experienced musicians. I bring an eclectic style of any genres, specializing in Gogo, R&B/HipHop, Jazz, Gospel, and Pop/Country. My essence is 90s/Early 2000s nostalgia with an edgy twist, Offering up covers of classics, and tastes of originals. I am well known in the DMV, and built a great report with many bands that I’ve sang background or fill in with. However, it’s now time to start my own journey and join the legends as we touch crowds all over the DMV!
