ABOUT

Hi! We're looking for band members for a band with two identities - Katye Kellye and The Interruption (Rock/Alternative/Indie band focused on original music and unique arrangements of Rock/Punk/Alternative/Celtic/Country originals) and Get Off My Lawn, a classic rock/Alternative cover band for those venues where they prefer covers as a way of winning over new followers and making money. We've covered everything from Warren Zevon to ABBA.

Our music has been described as "60 years of Rock and Roll in one package". I (Katye) started my first band over 40 years ago, and have been writing songs for that whole time. Constantly recording and releasing new music with lots of radio play and a decent following on streaming services.

Not looking to quit our full time jobs, but would like to play maybe 2 - 3X monthly or so and practice weekly-ish. We need (preferably with backup vocals) a versatile keyboard player. Also looking for mandolin/banjo/harmonica player. We're all over 50 - but you need not be. Maturity is important, though. No heavy drinkers or drugs. We practice in Sea Girt and usually play in the Jersey Shore - Philadelphia region, but are looking to expand to other venues in reasonable driving distance.

Decent social media following, engaged fanbase, and lots of indie/college station airplay around the world for our originals. It's a plus if you have recording experience working with a "wrecking crew" style band in the studio. Booking gigs now, so come be a part of it!

We generally practice on Sundays, but occasionally a weeknight or Saturday.
