To join guitarist/vocals and bassist/vocals and drummer for 80s and 90s based college/alternative/post punk covers. Familiarity and aptitude with the Cure and Smiths music is necessary. The Cure is probably our main vibe overall although we cover alot of alternative stuff.
We are looking to fill out a for fun basement band whose main goal is to build several sets worth of dance worthy cover songs, entertain ourselves and friends as we improve, and eventually play out once in awhile if opportunities arise. We are only interested in doing this as a hobby so we are not wanting to tie down working musicians who need to gig. We have a decent amount of cover songs learned and would really like to find a keyboardist or second guitarist or vocalist/frontman or woman who actually "gets" the genre described in our list of influences below.
