SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Lead Guitar, Drums.ABOUT
I'm already in a rockabilly duo but the guitarist works full-time and has family obligations every other weekend. Because of this, we can't gig during the week, as well as every other weekend. I have no problem with this - I'm just looking for another band so I can be playing out as much as possible. Also, if I need to put my current band on hold to tour, etc then I will do that.
Speaking of which, if you are into psychobilly then contact me RIGHT NOW!
I've been in bands before (doing electric bass, guitar, backing vocals, and lead vocals) since I was a teenager so I have experience playing shows, being punctual and responsible, setting up shows, networking, practicing, recording, collaborating with other musicians, being genuinely diplomatic, not pissing off your girlfriend, etc.
Here are some fun facts about me:
-I'm 32 years old and I don't mind how old you are. However, I don't want to jam with anyone under 18 (sorry kiddos).
-I have reliable transportation (aka I own my own car).
-I have a DTAR Solstice (which means I can plug directly into PA systems and it will still sound good).
-I want to play LOTS of shows - even if it means driving for hours or days to play them. What's the point in having a band if you don't play in front of other people?
-I have a funny and dry sense of humor.
-I don't really do drugs but if you do that's fine.
-You can easily find me on social networking sites via my username. Also, my last name is quite uncommon.
I look forward to hearing from you!
