Band to Join.

ABOUT

Playing with a tight group of musicians is my happy place! I'm looking to join an established band OR start-up with experienced musicians; preferably with horn(s), keyboard for a diverse set list.

I first learned to play bass years ago in a full swing / big band, ranging from Count Basie to Maynard Ferguson, Chicago/BST to Wynton Marsalis.

For the past 10 years I have been playing with two global, industry-wide classic rock/soul bands, where we circulate a set list; we each learn our parts; show up to an industry event & practice together 1 or 2x then perform. Typically only 1 gig/year for each band.

Set lists range include REM, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, & other classic rock to Sam & Dave, Otis Redding

I'm taking voice lessons to improve my singing! Also teaching myself the mandolin, as we needed one to play Wagon Wheel (Darius Rucker version) (see video 1st song)

Hoping to find a "local" band where I can play more regularly!

Anything from Classic/southern, Rock/R&B, original to swing band
