The Pantasia Steel Band is a Caribbean steel band with a family-friendly image and lots of credentials. We have more gigs than we can handle and we need additional members. Our music consists of calypso, reggae, beach tunes, and other styles typical of a steel band. Pantasia performs for at least 75 events a year. We are hired for festivals, school assemblies, and high-end events like wedding ceremonies on the beach, receptions, and large corporate events. We are looking for a friendly, responsible, clean-cut, polite, and professional addition to our band, specifically someone who owns their own lead, double tenor, or double second steel drums. We currently have a full roster of set players and Caribbean percussion. Pantasia is always in need of more steel drummers to meet all of the gig requests we receive. If you have played steel drum in the past, can read treble clef proficiently, but do not own a steel drum... let's talk. There is a chance we might have one you can borrow for practice.

Our current members are ages 25-65, male and female. One of our main performers is moving many states away so we need to find a suitable replacement or someone who is willing to train to become his replacement.

EQUIPMENT

Pantasia provides all of the equipment for performances. We can even provide you with everything you need to practice as long as you put in the practice time.
