At The Present Time, Billy D Has Gone Outside the Musical Box, Performing Solo, Bass and Vocals. Opting NOT to use any Backing Tracks or Fancy Gadgets to Enhance the Sound!! KEEPING IT REAL !!!

Performing Classic Country and Outlaw Country Music From The 50's thru the 80's, with A Few of Billy D's Own Originals Songs Mixed In.

Billy D Began His Musical Ventures, in the Early 70's playing Bass in Several Rock Bands with A Heavy Southern Rock Influenced Base. and was Fortunate Enough to Have Opened for Several National Acts Such As Little Feet, and Richie Havens. and Also Very Fortunate to Have Meet Allen Collins from The Lynard Skynard Band, Who Performed Several Songs with Our Band That Evening!! What a Thrill That Was !!

By The Late 70's, Billy Began to Get more into Country Music, And Played with Several Local Bands, Until He meet up with Earl B Hall. Who Introduced Me to More of An Outlaw Type of Music! Country Music, with A Mix Of Southern Rock, in a Non Traditional Manner. Billy D was Hooked, and Found What He Enjoyed Most! and So Did a Lot Of Other People !!

Thru The 80's Billy D Toured On the Road with Several Other Bands, Doing Shows All Over The Country, Until Settling Down In Florida.In Florida We Discovered We Could Play Locally / Semi Regional , and The Country Came to Us, Rather Than Us Going to The Country.

During The Late 80's, Early 90's Billy Was With a Band, SADDLE ROCK, Which Took a House Job, which Lasted for About 4 Years, Packing The House Every Weekend. And Also Hosting Many National Performers such as Freddy Fender, Little Jimmy Dickins, The Haggar Twins, Minnie Pearl, Dotty West, and Hank Thompson to Mention a Few.
