SEEKING
Band to Join, Piano, Keyboard, Drums, Bass Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Vocalist.ABOUT
Hello...My name is Sean, I play guitar, I'm 32 (but I look 22), I've been playing for 20 years (17 professionally) and all I want to do is make amazing music with amazing musicians but I have to find you first. I have a variety of original stuff and re-arranged cover stuff. I have a few ambitious goals/projects with songs being written (by me but I'm also seeking someone to collaborate with) currently for all of them. I'm also very interested in hearing what you've got to offer musically. Ideally, these are the projects I'm writing for and hopefully able to find the right musicians for:
1. An acoustic guitar duo (perhaps a trio) with a talented auxillary percussionist
2. A modern, open/explorative yet structured jazz quartet (drums, bass, keys, guitar) doing everything from ambient/trip-hop with live instruments combined with jazz/blues/soul/funk influence to covers of jazz standards done as very relevant, very musically tasteful tributes to the masters (and maybe opening some closed minds in the process).
3. A four or five piece heavy/sort of prog rock (minus the sterility) project. I have a 7-string which I tune strangely and also have a bunch of stuff written for. The influences for this one are along the lines of Mastodon, The Mars Volta, Black Sabbath (the original line-up) as well as so many other awesome bands that I can't conjur up at the moment. The musicians needed are: bass, drums, rhythm guitar, voacalist.
I feel that it's important to mention that I feel that music is nothing without soul first, so if you don't have it, I can't help you out unfortunately (I would love to though). Additionally, some to most of of this music is difficult, so please make sure that if you hit me up that you have at least a solid background in one of the project styles mentioned. Thanks for your time, I hope to hear from you soon!
