Beale Street Music Festival, a huge part of Memphis in May Festival, kicks off the celebration showcasing popular local and national musicians. Beale Street which is known as “Home of the Blues” and “The Birthplace of Rock N’ Roll” is filled with clubs, restaurants and shops. The Rum Boogie Café is a popular bar that offers drinks, food, and live musical entertainment. Its performers range the local music scene as well popular bands and musicians like Aerosmith and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
