I am updating my account and using a new email address on here.

I have been in cover bands the past 12 years or so but looking forward to finding something closer to home now. The videos attached are from 12/10/22 with a band I play in only a few times a year. I live on the west side of St Charles. Looking to practice preferably every other week and gig once a month- ish (flexible on a little more or a little less). I’ve always gotten along with my band mates and prioritize chemistry and a shorter distance to practice. I want us all to practice and sound good but I don’t want to be in a suburban cover band that takes itself too seriously that it’s not fun to play together. I am 38, I work full time and am married with kids. I am very committed but this is not my life. Happy to play large and small gigs - just want it to remain fun and have good chemistry on and off the stage.

I am an alto. I think I have strong vocals but within a range. I cover most men's song well and many female contemporary leads as well. Sometimes, key adjustments make the song and I want to be in a band where I can comfortably request a key change to optimize my vocals. I have never had a problem in bands in the past but like that to be known upfront. Would love to join a band were there is someone who can assist with backup vocals for depth.

Influences

I prefer playing 90s to current hit music. I also like rocking out some classic songs with an edge and a few country songs. Happy to do some 80s but preferably not the entire set list. I’ve covered so many from Foo, killers, fall out boy, cee lo, maroon 5, paramour, Coheed, cheap trick, Alanis, Melissa ethridge, bush, no doubt, refreshments, yeah yeah yeahs, pulp, chvrches, lorde, big data, cage the elephant, American rejects, Cure, tev lo, impersonators, miranda lambert, taylor swift, miley cyrus and so so many over the years. I like trying some new stuff for different shows and I like playing songs that people know and that we actually like to play in the band.
