OK, so I've had a couple years off now. I'm ready to put the band back together... BUT all the 100 songs the bar owners want to hear... I'm done with that. If I never hear Sweet Home Alabama again, much less play it, that will suit me fine.
There's literally thousands of great songs out there. I'd rather play maybe 5-6 gigs a year playing what I WANT TO PLAY than play all this sh*t I'm totally sick of.
So, forget about the money. You'd always be disappointed anyway.
If you have a little bit of skill (and I would expect you to get better. Actually I expect ME to get better, too), you have a desire to do something different, and you don't care about money, HMU. I have all the PA gear we would need, a small practice space, a long list of musician friends, and after 10+ years doing the local cover band thing LOTS of gig contacts.

And BTW, I have over 2 TB of video and audio if you really want to see or hear it.
