You live directly across the street from me. You love music for music’s sake. The only things you love more than music are your wife, your 7 year old child and fruitless conversation concerning the manifestation of consciousness in an infinite cosmos.. with beer. You feel that Arizona lacks culture. You wonder about who lives in the house two doors down, because you’ve never actually seen them outside. You’ve got no time for macho posers and attention sluts. You dream of one day performing an unusual 45 min masterwork, with one or two creatively adventurous souls, in front of an audience of 8-10 espresso sipping bohemians with zero attention deficit, at some dirty, hole in the wall, ‘Mom and Pop’ establishment. You would consider doing a NIN styled Daniel Johnston tune. You believe that Floyd will continue to entertain into the 23rd century and that an optimal career in music would resemble the independent creative freedom enjoyed by Gene and Dean Ween. You think my original home recordings are interesting but believe that thoughtful collaboration could produce some superior work (some of that sh*t is 25+ yrs old BTW).
