Mike and Dan met during swimming class when they were both 5 years old. They periodically bumped into each other throughout the years until recently when they discovered they both had a passion for electronic music, and a whole lot of common ground with which to develop a totally new performance idea.
Illision is the newest, most cutting-edge movement in electronic music. Working toward incorporating live instruments, electronic textures, and good musicianship, Dan and Mike have teamed up to deliver an electrifying live experience using a hybrid setup consisting of an acoustic drum kit station and a DJ station incorporating the latest technologies. Aside from performance illision is also a strong production team executing remixes of top 40's songs and leading electronica songs, creating teir own sound and vibe in the process.
With residencies at local night clubs in Vancouver, their fanbase and performance concept are developing rapidly. Illision specializes in both night club settings as well as more involved concert formats. They hope to establish a wide range of connections within the scene, as well as with local artists, studios, and producers.
