SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Versatile, dependable, experienced, and a cool hang bass player looking to do originals. Did the cover thing for years and I’m bored with it. Yes, I have reliable transportation. No, I don't have an ego, personality disorder, or drug abuse problem.
At the very least, please have a good sense of time, not drifting in and out of meter. Especially drummers. Don’t rush the fills.
Hardly a “weekend warrior”. No wife, no kids, no “can’t make practice or the gig cause my in laws just dropped in and the wife is making me go to the Olive Garden.”

Influences
Grew up on classical and blues-based rock. Matured beyond “genre tyranny” ages ago. Zydeco, metal, be-bop, big band, pop, country, world, Latin, hip hop, soul, R&B, funk, reggae, “alternative”, shoegaze, Disco, whatever. It’s all just music. Same 12 notes, just shaped differently.
That does not mean I’m going to throw 32nd slap runs into your ballad, use a whammy pedal during a salsa tune, or dig in with a pick and dimed Dark Glass distortion box for your R&B gig.
